A senior member of the Yad Vashem museum in Israel, are adamantly opposed to the monument erected in Berlin in memory homosexual population killed by the Nazi regime.
Israel Guttman described as "a mistake" the opening of this memorial. It also stated the regrettable decision to match the barbarity carried out on the Jewish people with the murder of several thousand people of different sexual orientation.
The new monument is located very close to one that honors the memory of the 6 million Jews who died in the Shoah.
